NNE PharmaPlan - 4/20
On Wednesday, April 20, AIChE will be hosting NNE PharmaPlan to host an info session and to discuss internship and job opportunities with the company. This will be happening from 4-7pm in Orion C (BSC). Food will be provided. Hope to see you all there!

Senior projects meeting - 4/5 & 4/7
Welcome back! For those who are starting their senior project next year, our professors will be presenting their research interests on Tuesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 7 in 17 1631. This meeting will serve to give you a brief overview of the projects available, after which you may follow up with professors to learn more and join their projects.
aiche western regional student conference - 4/15-16/16
For anyone interested in attending the AIChE Western Regional Student Conference at UCR, the registration prices go up next Wednesday, March 16. The conference will have events such as the Chem-E Car Competition, Paper Competition, and Chem-E Jeopardy. AIChE Members from the entire Western Region will be attending, which makes it a good networking opportunity! If you are interested and have no ride, contact us and we can try to set up a carpool. Conversely, if you are interested and can drive other people, please let us know so we can help everyone attend.

If you are interested in joining CPP's AIChE E-Board next year, we will be accepting applications during Spring Quarter. The positions for next year's board and their descriptions are described in this presentation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be holding a Statistics workshop during U-Hour on Thursday, February 18, in 15 1802. This info session is directed towards students currently taking CHE 132, but all are welcome to attend.
industry info session - 2/9/16
In 15 1802, during U-Hour on Tuesday, February 9, we will be having an info session about the various industries that us Chem Es can enter. At the end of the meeting, we will have a poll to find out what industries you are most interested in. Baked goods will be provided.

Kerr will be hosting an info session on Thursday (January 28) in 15 1802 at U-Hour. Come find out about their company and potential jobs with them!

At this meeting, we presented the various companies that will be present at the Career Fair that will be hiring Chemical Engineers. There is also some information regarding the types of positions they are looking for and what industry they operate in. Make sure to check it out!

At 7:20, this Thursday (10/22), in 17 1623, we will be hosting a mentorship meet & greet for all of you potential mentors and mentees! This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow chemical engineers and meet someone who could be your future mentor/mentee!
We will be having a joint social activity on Friday (10/23) with Materials Advantage (MA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). We will be bowling at Oak Tree Lanes in Diamond Bar (990 N Diamond Bar Blvd) from 6-8! It'll be a grand time, so come out and have some fun with your fellow engineers!

We will be hosting an event this Tuesday, October 6th in building 17 room 2123 geared towards newly enrolled freshman and transfer students to provide tips on how to navigate the college life and succeed in becoming a chemical engineer. You will learn about the classes you need to take, the professors that teach them, and tools that will help you become a seasoned engineering student. Yes, there will be free food.

Senior Banquet location
Senior banquet & Picture/Video upload now available
Tickets for the senior banquet are now available in the store! AIChE Members will receive a $5 discount (membership will be verified prior to the event). The event will take place on Friday June 12, 2015. In addition, seniors now have the opportunity to upload pictures and videos of memorable moments that you'd like to share at the banquet! AIChE will put together a slideshow using these submissions that will play during the banquet for everyone to see.
